Regina has been teaching at the University of Waterloo since September 2001. She coordinates the beginners’ courses for on-campus and distance education. At UW she has developed and taught Latin American civilization course, SPAN 218, SPAN 301A/B, Intermediate Spanish for Native Speakers, SPAN 210, and the online introductory courses SPAN 101 and 102. She is interested in developing innovative teaching techniques to improve language acquisition, and in raising students’ cultural and social awareness as they learn a new language.
